Please find below some photos taken during the recent visit of His Holiness the Dalai Lama to our Jamyang School on 26th of July, 2012. It was a really very successful visit and a very fortunate time to receive his blessing for all of us.

Our school reopened on 1st of March and these days the school is running fine. This year we have 28 new children admitted to our school and also 3 new teachers were selected. Now total number of children in our school is 215 and total number of staff is 26.
The weather here in ladakh is also getting warmer each day, but morning and evening is still little cold.

This year Jamyang had 60 new children admitted in the school , and now the total number of the children reach 190.
The school also took two new teachers and one new housemother. The total number of staff is 25 people.
CLASS ROOMS
Nowadays, in School, the construction of new first floor classrooms building is going on, till now the construction of outer building structure is finished.
Also recently the staff quarter complex construction is just finished. The construction of interior finishing of the office complex is also on progress.
Recently a Basketball ground construction has been finished and still we need to built a good Playground for the children for playing games.
